How to use PDF to JPG
- Drop a PDF or click to choose it.
- Enter the pages (or leave empty for all), the resolution and the format.
- Press “Convert to image” and download the images, individually or in a ZIP.
Tips and limits
- 150 DPI is enough for screens; use 300 DPI if you plan to print.
- High resolution on large pages uses a lot of memory; if it fails, lower the DPI.
- If the PDF has a password, the tool will ask for it.
What it is for and how it works
PDFs describe text and graphics as vectors; converting them to an image means “drawing” each page at a specific resolution. The more dots per inch (DPI), the sharper the image and the larger the file.
The conversion uses the PDF.js viewer inside your browser, with fonts and resources hosted on this same site, so your document is never sent to third parties.
Frequently asked questions about PDF to JPG
JPG or PNG?
JPG is smaller and works well for photos. PNG is better for crisp text and graphics.
Are all pages converted?
If you leave the pages field empty, yes; they come out in a ZIP.
Why is one page larger than another?
Each page keeps its own size. The final size in pixels depends on that size and the DPI you choose.
